Caroline Parks is a multidisclplinary artist based in Jersey City whose work includes sculpture/video installation, photography and performance.
Her practice engages a variety of media and materials, with an interest in women's histories, archeology and sustainable use of materials as an awareness of global warming.
She has been part of numerous group shows in NY, NJ, MA, MN and TX including A.I.R. Gallery (NYC), Mana Contemporary (Jersey City), Exit Art (NYC), Arts In Bushwick SITE FEST, Arts In Bushwick Open Studios (Brooklyn, NY), MCLA Gallery 51 (North Adams, MA) and Smush Gallery (Jersey City).
She has been featured in NYFA'S online magazine NYFA Current, The Museum of Americana and Squeaky Wheel Film & Media Arts Center's magazine.
Her performance work has been shown at Mobius Artists Group (Cambridge,MA), Grace Exhibition Space (NYC) and outdoors at various sites in MA.
She has a degree in fashion design from FIT, BA from Hunter College and has studied at SFAI, ICP and MECA as a scholarship fellow.
