Approximately 300 plastic six pack rings from beverage cans stitched together using fishing wire created a twin size 'plastic blanket’. The blanket design is replicated from 1950s chenille bedspread patterns. July 2009, I slept on the beach wearing pajamas with the sculpture Plastic Blanket. Plastic Blanket/Blanket of Ourselves is a commentary on living with trash/ specifically non bio-degradable plastic.
